Hey! I did!
And no, the swag tends to be limited for that year only, sorry!
Hi there! Someone at work told me a few days ago I should do a design based on that but I haven’t really done anything just yet and probably won’t be able to even touch it until I finish with gishwhes this year.
That said, I just did a shitty 5 minute sketch of what I would do.. Basically i’d incorporate an arrowhead into the fleur de lis and have a ribbon running through them with the code (you’ll probably need to get someone who knows French well to figure out how to divide the code into three so it’ll make sense…)
I’d also probably add more flowers and embellishments on there as well but this is sort of the basic shitty sketch of the design. Sorry all I had on me was a pen, scrap paper and really old whiteout which kinda ran EVERYWHERE
Okay, GISHWHES peeps!
The moment is almost upon us when THE LIST will be revealed. Will you sleep the night before? Have you stocked up on duct tape and kale and other miscellaneous items you might need?
Well here’s one more tip from the people who create the books (ie. me and a few others):
SUBMIT PICTURES THAT ARE BIGGER THAN 1000 x 1000px.
If you do, your entries will have a better chance of being included in the year book as in most cases, anything smaller than that aren’t going to be printable.
HAVE FUN! Can’t wait to lay out your crazy creations!
(disclaimer: I don’t know what the items are. I’m not a judge, nor do I initially pick the images for the book. Basically, don’t bribe me - it’ll get you nowhere)
It feels like I’ve been waiting for this forever! (I have) Teen Wolf phone case by brucelovesyou on society6/redbubble/etsy. Thanks to her for tweaking the crop slightly and dealing with my insufferable babble at Supanova when I spotted this design!
Hi! I do know! :D
He told me himself that he was going to hang it up in his house but I didn’t believe him at the time.
I was freaking out when he tweeted though! It was about 3 days before my wedding and I was so stressed out and that tweet was a much-needed break from the stress!
If you didn’t know already, I fractured my wrist at Sydney Supanova. I was up on a chair putting up some of my posters and as I stepped down, I fell and landed on my hand. I didn’t think it was an issue at first, but my husband insisted I get an x-ray just in case, since it’s my dominant hand.
I got the x-ray and turns out I fractured a bone! They splinted my hand. Aaaaand my work suffered! I had so much work to do - GISHWHES was starting, and I couldn’t draw or design!
Anyway, Sir Felippe heard about my situation and express posted me a bottle of Serpessence saying that Misha Collins swears by this stuff. It came a week ago and I’ve been rubbing it on my wrist 10 times a day every day since. My wrist is still fractured, BUT I CAN NOW DRAW!
JUST IN TIME FOR THE GISHWHES REGISTRATION TO OPEN!

I can’t thank everyone enough for their support at these conventions. And I always love seeing familiar faces every year :)
Thank you all so much and next stop? Melbourne Oz Comic-Con!
Perth Supanova, June 20-22, 2014
Oh Perth!!! I’m always here, but Elleisamonster is back in Perth very soon!
We have a butt load of new prints, including some that aren’t available online just yet. Elle has flower crowns and I have bows and not to mention our usual ridiculous supply of buttons and temporary tattoos.
Elle and I will be in Artist Alley A58. Do come say hi!!!
